5 FDA Approved Foods Other Countries Don't Allow

Were you aware that there are many foods with ingredients that the FDA has approved but other countries don’t allow to be imported and put on their grocery store shelves?


There is so much that can be said about nutrition and the lack there of in the foods that we are given to buy in the United States.

I’ve witnessed firsthand when I went to Europe that they don’t have the obesity that we have here in the US. I also saw that the foods that US Big Food companies send to Europe, that they sell in their grocery stores, have different ingredients. Why??

Is there a coincidence we have more sickness, disease, inflammation and obesity in the US? NO!!!

Other countries that our Big Food companies export to don’t allow all the toxic and carcinogenic (known to cause cancer) ingredients that the FDA allow in our foods. Why??


How can it be more lucrative for a company to make the same product two different ways?


Why wouldn’t they just make one product with the “healthier” ingredients? I dare say someone is getting paid, otherwise these companies would probably not be able to turn a profit.


Follow the money is often very telling!


This is why it is so important to read labels and know what is in your food.


So which ingredients are banned in other countries that the FDA approved for our food?

Here are a few ingredients to look out for. There are so many more but this is a good start.


GMOs – Genetically Modified Organisms

Foods that have genetically modified ingredients are not allowed in other countries.


Man has decided they can create a food that is healthier than what God made.


If you buy organic, they are theoretically not allowed to use GMO ingredients.


Foods that are GMO include:

  • Alfalfa

  • Canola

  • Corn (except popcorn)

  • Cotton

  • Papaya

  • Soy

  • Sugar beet (most sugar unless sugar cane)

  • Potato

  • Zucchini and yellow summer squash

  • Apple (effective January 1, 2022)

  • Eggplant (effective January 1, 2022)

  • Pineapple (effective January 1, 2022)

And they keep adding more!


Check your food label. Most processed foods in the US include Canola, Soy or Corn. Stay away from these even if they are organic. They are highly inflammatory.


Most of our wheat crops are sprayed with Glyphosate (Round-Up) to dry the wheat quicker so it can be brought to market faster.


BHA and BHT


These are preservatives to help our products stay on the shelf longer without spoiling. It’s also found in the packaging. They can alter your normal hormone function and lead to disease (possibly carcinogenic and endocrine disruptors).


Abnormal hormone function lends itself to many other health issues.


Don’t be fooled by I don’t want kids so this doesn’t apply to me.


Synthetic Food Dyes


Like Blue 2, Yellow 5 & 6, Red 40.


They increase risk for numerous conditions, like Tumors and hyperactivity in children.


If you see a color and a number, avoid the food.


Synthetic Hormones


Examples are rBGH and rBST which are mostly found in dairy. Check your cheeses.


They also may cause cancer.


Why would you want to throw your hormones out of balance with synthetic hormones?


These hormones are also greatly affecting our children and possibly why we have more women unable to conceive.

Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides

Think about it. Do you want to eat herbicides, insecticides, fungicides?


If they are sprayed on our crops they are in our foods. You can’t just wash them off.


So, you are eating them. Yuck!


As of 2016 the European Union banned 72 of these active ingredients out of the 374 that the US allows. Why does the US allow them??


Bottom line…


Eat real food. Eat God’s food!


No surprise God knew what He was doing when He created our food!


The FDA is allowing what I call Un-Food into our grocery stores.


Un-Food is what is causing most of our sickness, disease, inflammation and obesity. But they aren’t going to tell you that!


Your body wasn’t designed to eat un-food. Your body doesn’t know what to do with it. Your body doesn’t just eliminate it.


Your body may store this un-food as fat to keep this unidentifiable intruder away from your vital organs.


Honor your body and your health with real food!
